  • Metatarsal touching the casting platform
  • Optimal sagittal alignment: correlates with heel height of
    the shoe (+/- 5° of the functional alignment)
  • Optimal coronal alignment: to represent biomechanical
    goals (+/- 3° of functional alignment)
  • Tibial inclination of 7°
