With changes to Medicare billing waiting patiently on the horizon, Thuasne USA knew the complex issue could be difficult for providers to navigate. That’s why a new online platform, built specifically for clinicians and their teams, is poised to launch at ThuasneUSA.com. The Competitive Bidding Resource Center is a free informational guide aimed at decoding the new regulations and offering support to the industry.

Round 2021 of the DMEPOS Competitive Bidding Program goes into effect on January 1st, 2021 and with it new rules around billing for off-the-shelf (OTS) knee and spine braces. Competitive Bidding Areas (CBA) have been consolidated, reimbursement rates have been updated and Thuasne USA President Thierry Arduin believes it’s time to lend a hand.

“We know these changes are important for our industry and for Medicare, but we also know it can be a learning process. We’re here to be a resource and provide tools to help billing go smoothly.”

Those tools include a list of the new CBAs, and overview of the DMEPOS CBP process, insight into Local Coverage Determinations (LCD) and more.

Marketing Manager Scott Ulrich helped build the content and while the platform isn’t meant to be a user’s sole source of information, he does hope it does serve as a resource for you billing needs.

“This is about kicking 2021 off right and that means lending a hand on billing, especially when it comes to the patients, clinicians and small businesses that have made Thuasne USA a success.”
