Defying the Impossible: Letchen du Plessis

After a life-changing injury in 2019 and numerous surgeries since, Letchen du Plessis has not let this stop her and is taking adaptive sports competitions by storm.

Du Plessis was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) and Dystonia which she said “changed her whole life.”

Now using a custom Thuasne SpryStep Vector AFO Du Plessis, a former collegiate athlete, has returned to competing at the highest level and taking home the gold.
